Should I try and become a FMF Navy Corpsman?

I am currently in High School but will be graduating in one year and I was looking into the Navy, with the position of a FMF Navy Corpsman. But there are some problems in this, not many if any woman can become an FMF Navy Corpsman. I want this more then anything! Could it be possible if I dedicate myself to become one? I am currently a certified Nurses assistant, could this help me with the medical training needed? And if it is not possible to become a FMF Navy Corpsman what would be a great position in the Navy that would be close to it! :) Thank you!
