How do you become a certified phlebotomist in connecticut?

At my community college (tx) they offer Phlebotomy courses and internships with a local hospital. So you might want to check there. I would think he would already have the necessary "hours" needed since he was a corpsman so he might not have to take a full course but I am not sure of course.
