How long does it take to become a Navy Corpsman for the Marines after bootcamp?

I want to be a Navy Corpsman for the Marines, I was wondering what are the requirements to become a Corpsman, How long does it take to become a Corpsman after bootcamp, and what happens after you are given the title of Navy Corpsman???
