As a female hospital corpsman, do I have a good chance of travelling with the Marines?

So I just recently got back from MEPS, picked my job, swore in and picked my Navy job. I chose hospital corpsman as my job. The job counselor told me that I got lucky because usually there aren't any spots available for female corpsman. And my recruiters said the same thing. I was just wondering if it's possible that they might assign me to a Marines fleet. Because someone told me that they don't send female hospital corpsman with the marines. I know for sure that I can't be assigned to a submarine.
