I qualified for the Navy but I'm QNJ. Now what?

I'm 25 years old and a female. I'm already an EMT, so of course I want to be a corpsman. Hopefully fmf. I know everyone and their mom wants to be a corpsman, but I also know things change daily at MEPS. There was a spot open two days before I was there. I'm going reserve so I know my odds are a little better since most people do active duty. I just don't know what to do now. Do I wait for my recruiter to call me once a job opens up? Hope that he will call MEPS often? I just want the rate and I want to know when I'm going to ship out. It's just frustrating. Is there anything else I can do?
