Is it possible for a 14 year old to have a blue belt in BJJ?

Because i am a 14 year old and i have been training for a year now and my instructor said i am almost ready for my blue belt (he never said anything about yellow) and if it matters i study machado jiu jitsu and roman kilgor promotes us.
