If a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy becomes a Navy SEAL, would he retain his rating?

For example, if a Hospital Corpsman Third Class became a Navy SEAL Corpsman, would he become a Special Warfare Operator Third Class, once finishing SEAL Qualification Training, or would he retain his rating as a Hospital Corpsman Third Class?
