I want to be a combat medic?

I was once in your shoes. I wanted to obe a Marine but wanted to be a medic. For me the ARMY was my choice. If you choose to be a Combat Medic in the Army you will go through the 10 week basic training just like everyone else who joins the Army. You will then go to a 16 week AIT at Fort Sam Huston, TX. During this training you will recieve a civilian NREMT-B cert. If you already have this cert you will be "fast tracked" to pass this part of your training. However you must remember to let your recruter know this or you will not recieve this credit. Personaly I love the Army and I have no regrets once so ever about my choices. I hope you make a good choice and I wish you all the best luck with your training.
