How is it being a Navy Corpsman?

I really was set on enlisting into the Marine corps (03 field) until recently. Being a medic has always appealed to me and I know the Corpsman get the chance to work with Marines. Im currently 20 and attending community college, I really need a challenge in life, and i believe this could be the challenge I am looking for. I think serving with the grunts as their devil doc would be a great honor. I always work hard, never quit toward what I aim for, I would hope to one day work toward being a SARC. But I'm taking one day at a time so any insight or personal opinions on the matter would be great........also how is the training army medics get compared to Corpsman..... Thank you.....
