Can woman be FMF Combat Navy Corpsman?

I want to become a FMF Navy Corpsman but I dont want to be stuck in Marine camps if I get deployed. I want to be a combat corpsman, to actually fight physically alongside the Marines. But I heard that for a woman to be a Combat Corpsman is next to impossible...is it?
